Mark 8 22-26— From Blurred Figures to Clear Sight

Host Susan Downie leads a short quiet-time episode reading Mark 8:22–26, where Jesus heals a blind man in Bethsaida.

Drawing on her experience as an Optometrist, Susan reflects on the two-stage healing, the practical and emotional impact of sight loss, and Jesus’ compassion in restoring independence and community.

The episode ends with a prayer and an invitation to accept the life Jesus offers, with a preview of tomorrow’s psalm and worship.
