A Fresh Dive into Mark’s Gospel

Join Susan Downie for a 15–20 minute quiet time of Bible reading, prayer, and gentle conversation as she introduces the Gospel of Mark. She reads Mark 1:1–8, explains John the Baptist’s role in preparing the way, and reflects on how Mark anchors Jesus in Old Testament prophecy.

Using an investigative "Uncover" approach, Susan highlights Mark’s fast-paced style, the significance of baptism in the Jordan, and the arrival of the Holy Spirit, summarizing the key evidence that Jesus is the promised Messiah.
